Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Aphor Group, we take our commitment to sustainability seriously. As a music production business, we understand the importance of protecting our planet and minimizing our environmental impact. We contract work for a variety of musical jobs, including music production, recording sessions, vocal producing, mixing mastering, arranging, live arranging, musical directing, band directing, instrumentation, instrumental tracking, studio treatment, music mentorship, music tech advising/consulting, and certified instructing, among others. In all of these areas, we strive to prioritize sustainable practices and reduce our carbon footprint.

One of the ways we approach sustainability is by going paperless whenever possible. This includes digitizing all documents and communication, reducing the amount of printed materials, and recycling paper waste. Additionally, we work to reduce emissions during travel by utilizing rideshare, carpooling, and hybrid or electric vehicles. These practices not only help us reduce our environmental impact, but they also help us save costs and operate more efficiently.

We have set specific sustainability goals to guide our actions and measure our progress. For example, we aim to use 100% recycled materials for our advocate uniforms. We also seek to measurably reduce the energy consumption of each studio or venue we work with. By implementing necessary energy-efficient lighting and equipment, and promoting responsible energy use, we can minimize our environmental footprint and support sustainable operations.

At Aphor Group, we recognize that our commitment to sustainability goes beyond our business practices. We strive to align our values and priorities with those of our customers and target audience. By listening to their feedback and engaging in open dialogue, we can better understand their concerns and priorities regarding sustainability, and work to meet their expectations. We believe that by working together, we can create a more sustainable and resilient music industry.

One of the biggest obstacles to achieving sustainability in the music industry is the lack of knowledge of electrical theory. Many music professionals may not be aware of the ways in which too much energy is consumed regularly, and in some instances, there are even dangerous practices regarding energy. At Aphor Group, we require our advocates to have education in electrical theory, and if they are not certified, we will implement our own certification program. By providing this education and training, we can ensure that our advocates have the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable practices and minimize energy waste.

In conclusion, at Aphor Group, we are committed to sustainability and are actively taking steps to reduce our environmental impact. We understand the importance of sustainability in the music industry and are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in all areas of our business. We believe that by prioritizing sustainability, we can create a more resilient and thriving music industry for future generations.
